Me: AAAAAAIEEEEEEEEE!!!
Dad: What? What?
Me: *point and wibble*
Dad: Oh, please. It's probably more scared of you than you are of it.

So, umm... what happened in the end?
The spiders got us! Zombie Blogging FTW!
(Or we just walked away and left the poor thing in peace. Whichever. ;-))
Everytime my mother tells me some insect is probably more scared of me than I am of it, I wait for it to scream, point and run away from me. Usually, it just goes on creeping closer unless it has wings in which case it keeps bombarding me.

[Reminded of the Woody Allen comment about spiders the size of a Buick in Annie Hall]
The trouble with spiders is that there's the occasional venomous species, and you're never sure what you're looking at. I doubt the venom can kill, though.
Not helping? :-)

@Amrita: hmm, scared but lacking the cognitive function to react appropriately? It's a thought...
@Ramsu: Thanks to you, I will NEVER AGAIN visit the land of my forefathers without a HAZMAT suit. :-(
Zombies! I have a couple of ex-colleagues who have an interest in this area! But, best I don't tell them; they were aspiring zombie hunters...
The venomous ones are the bright colourful ones that look tasty. So, just stay away from those...
